For my final project in Design 229 Textile Design; Weaving I, I designed and wove small bags for the Wisconsin Idea seminar tour that could fit their nametag, a small informational booklet, and possibly a phone. The concept was to hand weave these small bags for the tourists to take back home as personal items and reuse them as small bags for their phones or wallets instead of giving them a once-and-toss plastic nametag.
